Are HEPA filters medical grade?

HEPA filters are considered medical grade and are used in many medical and office spaces. The reason is that they are able to remove 99.97% of all particles as small as .3 Microns. As seen in the chart above, if you are looking for a medical grade filter, you will need a HEPA filter. Be careful, HEPA filters are not designed to be used in your standard home HVAC unit.
